And the Superior Scribbler Award Goes to Randi James

Okay, so I received this award on December 30th from the best blog of all time and my daily motivator, Rights for Mothers, but I have unable to post until now because I was tied up with New Year's celebrations. I'm not even sure I know of 5 bloggers to whom to pass this--especially since Glenn's Cult was one of the recipients AND one of my favs, and additionally she gifted the award to Womanist Musings, another of my favs. Thanks a lot...LOL!!!

But now that I'm thinking about it, this is a great way to do something that I was going to do anyway: introduce you to a few great blogs that are in my purple footer section that you may not have paid attention to. So the award now goes to:

1. Anonymums--courageously blogging about protective mothers and domestic violence, and exposing family court corruption.

2. Behind the Blue Wall--still boldly blogging about officer involved domestic violence after having been recently threatened.

3. ArtConstellation--an awesome artist blogging while traveling through her experiences in being a survivor of incest. There is great pain reflected in this blog.

4. Victimized Over the AOC--blogging about sexual assault crimes worldwide. Maybe now Brian will answer my e-mail from 6 months ago and then he and I can have a conversation about how he changed my life in a couple of sentences that he wrote.

5. Abysstohope--Marcella blogs about rape and the injustice that surrounds it in the media and legal system. She articulates everything that I have ever wanted to say, but am often too tongue-tied-angry-not-yet-removed. Abysstohope has been online since 2006 and it was the only blog that would appear when I would do searches for violence against women. Through the Carnival of Sexual Violence, she introduces me to other excellent blogs across the sphere, leaving me hope that there are others that "get it" and that we are not alone in this battle. It will always be close to my heart.
