A DeSoto County man is in jail accused of killing his stepdaughter. It's the county's first homicide of the year. Police say Kimberly Field was trying to stop a fight between her mother and stepfather when she was shot and killed.
Desoto County Sheriff Bill Racso says Wednesday night deputies got a call about a deadly domestic issue.
"We found a 34-year-old female had been shot with a 16 gauge shot gun," he said...More Here..
