I hope that this is the "something new" we all need. I mean, the change we need--LOL. My fear is that EVERY "high conflict" case will go to this one judge...and that will be too much.
With a vacancy in General Sessions Court, Shelby County Commissioners voted Monday to create a domestic violence only docket for the Division 10 appointment.
"We have a precedent. We know that this works. We know a dedicated domestic violence court works," said Mike Carpenter.
