Iraq War veterans seem to be killing and hurting themselves and others more than the veterans of any other war in American history.I've never been more at the edge of my seat before while reading an article. Every step of the way, I'm waiting for her to take an easy way out, bow down, say something simple...Nope! I'm impressed.
Only two weeks ago, the New York Times reported nine murders and a rising number of rapes and other violent crimes against women committed by Iraq war veterans at Fort Carson, Colorado. One veteran beat his girlfriend to death. Another raped and murdered a mentally challenged teenage girl.
She concludes the article with several interventions that can be taken. Here's mine (if you've been reading me, you already know how I feel about the military):

I am a Marine wife i was a victim of abuse fore 2 and a half years. I left him one morning at 4 am. After i left i did not know who to call or what to do the day before he had beaten me fore the last time. I took picks of my cuts and bruising. I had a friend tell me about the fap. I put my trust in the fpa the 5th of Aug my husband had his what i want to call spank on the hand you did a bad thing hearing. The Marine corps did nothing. I had a doc. statement, pics, family and friends statements, call logs showing he broke the m.p.o what the fuck to me that was enough. the bored found it unsubstantiated. But yet thy found in my favor on the sex a salt. Now wen thy called me to tell me the boards findings and wen i asked what happen to him thy had the gall and nerve to say to me. I am sorry we cant give that info out to you.My Marine husband is still in the corps and I am back home in my home town with nothing. He cut off my bank act. took the car and I git 485 buck a month from him trust me that's nothing wen i know what he gits paid a moth. Can some one pls help me ware can i go.
