Many More Have Died

I am retiring the Rest in Peace section of my blog at this moment. I had my e-mail set up to receive news alerts about domestic violence homicide and spouse murder, and I was overwhelmed by the daily list. I figured that violence would increase over the holiday season because it is a stressful time in general, and also the economy is screwed. It didn't expect there to be murders nearly every day.

My list was in no way comprehensive and many more victims have been injured, and many more have died--never making it to 2009. So I say peace be with all of those who have fallen at the hands of another, and to the families that are mourning and will mourn. And if you are willing to forgive in order to move on, so be it. But that doesn't mean I can't be angry for you.

So, fuck you, you selfish ass muthafuckers who took the lives of women and children. And a BIG fuck you to those ultimate cowards who took their own lives as well. I'd rather that you stood to face your deeds so I could tie a rope around your wet balls and hang you upside down from a tree in Alaska.  If there is indeed a hell outside of the one that exists on Earth, may you meet the devil there.
