Gags Orders in Family Law

The last time I wrote, I mentioned family violence victims who cannot/will not come for for fear of retaliation in our court system (see Fathers' Rights and the War on Women and Children). And barely a week later, we have Tonya Pinkins:
Tonya Pinkins, the amazingly talented advocate of children's rights was threatened with possible incarceration if she does not remove all personal identifications in her custody case from the internet, according to a courtwatcher who was in the public hearing.

A similar order was issued against Elena Eustache, Baby Mama of actor Naveen Andrew's child, and a French/Czech citizen. The order for Ms. Eustache is even more restrictive and lasts 15 years. She cannot even fictionalize her story.

Commissioner Alan Friedenthal called writing about his decisions and possibly unethical behavior "defamation". Never mind that the fact he was reading about cases he presided over was perhaps an ethics violation in itself. He then had a sheriff "warn" this writer about her postings on the internet, according to the deputy, Sargeant Wheatcroft, though there was no arrest made.
And so it continues. Claudine Dombrowski (Kansas), was also ordered to removed pictures of her daughter from the internet--a daughter with whom she has had little contact because custody was given to the father--her former abuser.

A year ago, I searched the internet and found only one document that spoke of gag orders in a civil court case. That case had to do with a business. We know that gag orders are issued in high profile criminal cases to prevent the perversion of justice...but who protects family violence victims when the perpetrators and the judges are.....perverted?

Ever wonder why it is called a gag order? Maybe because it makes you nearly throw up--having the judge put his dick in your mouth, to silence you.

Too extreme?

I think not, he's already shitting on you, not to mention, the law.
